Great, complex nose with a combination of dirty and fruity associations. On the palate spicy, dirty, creamy with a touch of salt. Excellent representative of the 1988 vintage!

Limited to a mere 233 bottles this is another great Caroni. First off this one bites and if you want all the flavours you're going to need a few drops of water and then let it rest for 15-30 minutes. After that it really scores. The nose is very nice with a bourbon touch to it followed by a mix of vanilla, tar, wood, olive topped with flowery notes and cigars. The palate is well rounded, heavy and complex with mint and licorice followed by fruits and a tad of oak. Really nice rum indeed.

Very nice bottling of the 98 vintage. More in the dirty side. Yet komplex with fruits and dark chocolate.

Nose: fruit, wood and a hint of dirt. On the second nose, a beautiful smoke appears. The palate is complex, still on the markers announced on the nose. The dirty side, garage and smoke bury the fruit a little from the second palate onwards. A good caroni.

Classic Caroni at its best, chocolate leather, wood, very delicious, the nose and mouth are identical, the finish is long and dry, sweet with woods, leather, and black pepper.. Very successful, Duncan Taylor thanks for this one..

A great Caroni. I didn't expect so much, as it's continental and from the 1998 vintage, but it's nice and dirty with fruity notes on top. Alcohol is well integrated
