Oh, already on the nose clearly more intense than the simultaneously tasted 2007 Single Cask (RX6912). On the palate significantly stronger, the over 50% ABV does him good. Pleasant, medium-long finish. Not top class among Agricoles, but quite solid.

There aren’t many rums from this distillery above 50% abv. All the more you’re happy as a cask-strength Agricole to get such bottlings. This one is quite a disappointment for me. A standard Agricole without notable and characterizing edges and corners.

The third Agricole this evening. Against its favorite predecessors it just barely comes up short. Delicious, typical Agricole nose with wood and spice. The palate as well, and additionally some coconut. That makes it quite interesting. Alcohol is very well integrated.

Good cask-strong Agricole, but it fell short of my expectations: flavor-wise, herbal notes and the caramel sweetness from barrel aging dominate. That's not bad per se, but also not particularly exciting, especially since it doesn't harmonize well. Alcohol is well integrated.
