I really like it on the nose, unfortunately it falls a bit on the palate. But honestly: for currently 37 EUR (0.5L), this is really good value!

My first encounter with this distillery. Very balanced on the nose. Cinnamon, blackcurrant, honey, and slightly woody. Unfortunately, on the palate a bit thin and disappointing that it can't deliver what the nose promised. Still a good rum for the price.

For the price I paid – just under 40 euros at the fair I think – actually really good. However, it was sold to me as a molasses rum from Guadeloupe.

A good aged rum, this 6-year-old Darboussier. It's smooth on the first sip then it gets stronger and stronger, personally I love it! A good taste of agricole rum then you can feel vanilla, bourbon, and spices. A bottle you absolutely must have in your collection! On the other hand, I'm disappointed by the finish which is too short but it remains a very good rum, no doubt about it!
