Let’s face it, Bundaberg rum doesn’t have a good reputation. As an Australian, I wasn’t really exposed to it in my younger days. Some would call that a blessing. After hearing the overwhelmingly positive comments about Solera, I can safely say that this is simply sensational. Rich notes of caramel, oak and vanilla, it goes down very easily. Smooth as silk and the flavours that linger on the palate warm the soul. Marvellous stuff.

Quite a surprise. Beautiful packaging, the bottle looks perfect Molasses rum full of vanilla-caramel-tobacco flavor. A little black pepper on the finish. Top bottle from Bundenberg and definitely not bad. I can imagine it pairs very well with a cigar.
