Solider Rum, aber mit Schwächen. Die typischen Esternoten zeigen sich nur verhalten. Frucht, etwas Klebstoff, dazu leicht grasige Töne, alles recht zurückhaltend. Am Gaumen etwas flach, die Textur eher dünn, die Aromen entweichen schnell. Kein schlechter Rum, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Hampden-Abfüllungen dieser Art fehlt es deutlich an Ausdruckskraft und Tiefe.
Hoffe ich habe hier den richtigen erwischt, laut Bild ausm Netz müsste er es aber sein. Nase hauptsächlich fruchtig, sehr vergoren, Ananas etwas erkennbar. Am Gauemn dann auch überreife und vergoren Früchte. Ester eigentlich kaum vorhanden.
Und gleich noch einen Cadenheads aus der Green Label Serie hinterher. Meiner Meinung nach einer der bessere. Die typischen Hampden Marker sind hier schon klar erkennbar. Aber insgesamt gesehen wirkt dieser mal wieder ein wenig zu dünn und verwässert, leider.
