The nose is a touch sharp. Showing all of it's 55%. The usual sugarcane juice expected of an agricole rum mixed with flowering roses, lemon peel and very distant banana skins. The palate is a touch sweet but very green. I get lots of olives and green bell peppers. There's a saltyness as well. The finish isn't around for long but does bring a mineral note. Almost pebbley. Kind of reminds me of the marshmallows that used to come in kids cereals. Overall, an interesting rum. The green palate and the mineral/marshmellow finish isn't something I've experienced often. Having said that it's not something I'd want to drink everyday or a lot of.
