A Dominican rum with a nose of butter caramel, vanilla, wood, and sherry. The palate is soft with a very marked caramel and a slightly watery impression. The finish is quite short but a note of butter caramel lingers long with a hint of sherry. The caramel is a bit too pronounced for my taste and masks the other aromas especially on the palate.

The nose is nicely round and well balanced. Quite fruity. Also very pleasant on the palate with some buttery, fruity notes. Quite a nice finish, but unfortunately a bit short. All in all nice to drink. But I miss a bit more depth.

Powerful on the nose, somehow rum-like but not graspable for me, a bit caramel, also a fault note; tongue similar, not mine... (2.8.24) second tasting: clearly better, reminds a bit of Metaxa, nicely oily in the mouth, drinkable
