Nice Depaz! A tad too sharp for a top rating.

Definitely one of the best Depaz I’ve had so far! Extremely round, spicy fresh and fruity mild. Tobacco, fully ripe pineapple, yellow stone fruit, cocoa and salted almonds, vanilla pods and pickled plums. Dry and slightly astringent. Very pleasant and top integrated alcohol level.

It gets off to a good start with a lovely fruity nose (very citrusy, between tangerine and grapefruit) plus a light floral side and well-presented spices. A little alcoholic, but counterbalanced by buttery/brioche touches. On the palate, it's the same old thing, with more fruit (grapefruit) and spices (nutmeg, exotic wood, Pier Import!), and some woody bitterness at first, which then fades. Freshness and tingling reminiscent of Brede Mafane from Madagascar. A long finish with a fruity, vegetal and spicy cane, Waow!

Beautiful wood, fruit very present as usual with depaz but with red fruit showing its nose in addition to the usual yellow fruit (especially on the palate) raspberry, banana, apricot, ... There's a nice almond too
