Cadenhead Green Label Set (3rd Ed) Thanks Alex! Way too thin, tasteless, and too alcoholic. Minimal grassy freshness with some spice. Still a bit rounder than the previous bottlings in the set. Bitter finish.

Today I'm testing 3 Haiti bottlings from the Green Label series by Cadenhead again. Like most from this range, they can't really convince. For me, they definitely weren't anything special. Still, thanks to Alex for this split and the chance to try them.

Three Cadenheads green label from Haiti in comparison. Besides this one, the RX16311 and the RX7866. Many thanks to Alex for the samples. Also here, like with the RX7866, a very light yellow - almost invisible in the glass. Like the other two representatives, the nose gives a nonspecific, somewhat sweetish impression. This 9-year-old rum is a bit rounder on the palate and shows the most flavor in comparison. It's mainly a sweet-spicy impression and the ABV settles okay after a few minutes in the glass. The medium-long finish carries the same aromas with a faint marzipan note. For me, it's the best of the three samples, but definitely no highlight and only after a few minutes in the glass.
