Old Brothers Hampden Brut d'alambic 86,3 LROK 2018

Anyone who chases unaged Hampden at full throttle will want a look here. Bottled at a wild 86.3%, this LROK is white, raw and surprisingly drinkable for the strength — several tasters were caught off guard by that. Expect citrus, olive, green vegetal notes and a whiff of anise rather than the usual pineapple bomb; the fruit sneaks in after it sits in the glass.

A very nice and intense profile. Needs to rest for a good while to release all the flavours. Fruity with nice spices topped with a light floral touch. Thr floral note is more obvious in the empty glass.
