25.05.2019 Sitting at home enjoying some nice samples. Notes Light in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, ester, fruits, faint chocolate, light caramel, faint floral. Palate Oily, light wood, fruity, overripe, light chocolate, light leather, faint caramel. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light chocolate, faint floral.

Unfortunately, the Panama base doesn't grab me at all. The finish in the Hampden cask is very subtle.

How I loved this rum back then. For 35€, an absolute bang for your buck with lots of Jamaica in the profile but at the same time a light body. Nicely balanced and thus a nice everyday rum.
