Damoiseau’s best? It’s a pity that there’s so very few left out there. Nice nose, super smooth and an elegant and subtle medium long finish.

Wow, a stroke of luck. Old bottle, cork in the rum, everything looked like a mistake. But I was able to filter the rum and the taste is spot on. Certainly on a par with the 18 brothers of these legendary 80s Damoiseaus. Again balanced, earthy, floral.

An older tasting and I'm still struggling to add my older tastings without spamming too much 😊 A very nice rum with great balance though I think the ABV should have been higher because it comes off a bit light. Still a great and well balanced rum with nice fruit and floral notes. Lightly dry palate with light chocolate at the end.

Tasting-Abend bei Dr. Django: Das ist schon ein besonderer Agricole… Damoiseau aus den 80er. Schwer, dunkel und würzig kommt er daher, von der Nase bis zum Abgang ein recht intensiver Rum. Alkohol ist nicht wahrnehmbar.. Vielen Dank an Leo, den mal im Glas haben zu können
