Great, complex nose with anise and licorice! Unusual pencil note for a Port Mourant. On the palate, the power is missing and the high expectations cannot quite be met. Unfortunately, a very short finish.

12.03.2011 Another nice meet up with expats at this club where the music can blast you into the next millenia. Notes. Light to medium dark colour. Nose: wood, leather, citrus, spice. Palate: wood, roasted, licorice, spicy, orange. Finish: medium long, wood, anise, licorice, light smoke.

Promising impressions on the nose, which the rum can unfortunately no longer deliver at the same level on the palate. The wet wood and the spice of the PMs remains recognizable, due to the dilution no longer quite so extreme. In addition, mineral notes that make you think of Versailles. Extremely unfortunate that here was so strongly diluted.
