Rhum assez complexe. La Jamaïque a pris le dessus sur l’assemblage. Fruité, rond, épices et bois. Tout y est au juste équilibre.

Very very good. Complex and complete, all very well balanced. Doesn't have anything to envy to its counterpart, the Tiger Shark, for which I have a slight preference, but I was the only one to think so in the group.

03-01-2025 Part of a Navy Rum Tasting. In the mid field. Good nose. Fruit and spices. Missing a bit power when tasting. A bit more complexity like the Black Tot Master Blends.

A rum like 15 year old Mulata that on taste reminds me of Caroni with those strong notes of barrel and tar. Really interesting with very good potential sin the light finish. Light hints of spices, roasting and chocolate, however well integrated. At the moment it comes 130 euros and because of such a fleeting finish I wouldn't know if it would merit purchase.

Einladende Nase. Dreckige Noten und Frucht, im Mund ordentlich süss. Im Mund gute Portion Clarendon. Im Abgang kommt Guyana durch.

Excellent navy, très gourmand. Un modèle d'équilibre. Les 3 origines se complètent et se combinent parfaitement. Le fruité vient parfaitement contrebalancer les notes plus lourdes et épicées du guyana.

Je préviens que j'ai dégusté ce rhum juste après ouverture de la bouteille, à réviser d'ici 2 mois d'aération. Ce rhum est pour moi une pièce de théâtre en 3 actes... Acte 1 le nez qui vous emmène en Jamaïque avec son fruité typique. Acte 2 la bouche, qui l'espace de quelques secondes vous transporte directement chez Caroni puis sur un trinidad plus léger. Acte 3 une fin de bouche et une finale qui se termine sur du Guyana typique, caramélisé, fruits cuits...moyennement longue mais forte. Une superbe découverte que j'ai hâte de re-découvrir d'ici 2 mois, cela s'annonce déjà excellent ! Rapport qualité prix vraiment bon.

Leckerer, komplexer Blend bei dem die Trinidad 🇹🇹 bzw. Guyana 🇬🇾 Noten überwiegen. Interessant ist der Alkoholgehalt für einen Navy, welcher hervorragend eingebunden ist. Ein milder, langer Abgang mit Schoko und Honig rundet das Bild ab.

Ansprechender Navy-Rum mit angenehmem Karamell-Schmelz über einem durchaus intensiven Profil, das von Holz, dunklen Gewürzen und schweren Fruchtaromen geprägt ist. Die Süsse glättet etwas die Wogen, ohne den übrigen Aromen die Ausdrucksstärke zu nehmen. Gelungener Blend, dem für höchste Navy-Weihen aber etwas die Ausgewogenheit fehlt.

Un nez clairement dominé par le port mourant. En bouche d abord un tdl heavy, un peu fumé, qui vient sauver le blend, sinon tout le reste est port mourant, ce que je n apprecie pas. Mais ou est la jamaique ? Finale longue sur le guyana.
