Slightly smoky, herbal nose with citrus fruits (especially grapefruit). Complex and balanced. Perfectly balanced on the palate. Excellent, continental matured Enmore!

11.08.2012 A tasting i arrange with new colleagues who liked rum. Notes Light in colour. Nose Intense, balanced, wood, light smoke, nutts, raisin, light citrus, herbs. Palate Intense, wood, tannins, roasted, light floral, raisin, citrus, medium dry, glue. Finish Very long, wood, dried fruit, light leather.

... Old Velier Demerara rums are the best you can taste in the rum world. Rums aged rather accidentally for several years in the tropics and nobody topped up the cask contents. The angel's share was 90% or more, which is why the taste is especially full and intense. Even though it's an extra expensive affair, I recommend trying a rum from this series at least once in your life.
