My colleague had it at her place, but as expected, it was unfortunately nothing, like most Bacardi. It's very sweet, you can recognize vanilla and caramel. Probably okay with cola, would have been exactly my thing a few years ago.

One of the first ,,better rums,, I have tasted around 7-8 years ago. This is a reminder but I still have a fond memories of trying this one out at wedding. It was well balanced not too sweet, not too spicy eventhough this is a spiced rum. It is not available anymore, at least not under Oakheart brand.

Very buttery on the nose, just on the edge of 'overloaded' and almost liqueur-like. Still surprisingly pleasant and far from nonsense like Don Papa. Less sweet than expected when neat. Loads of vanilla, but without the liqueur-like cloying. Instead, from the middle on, a strongly roasted note comes in. I like it. In terms of spiced rums, this should also be the price benchmark proving the category doesn't have to be a total failure.

Artificial notes and intense, also interesting aromas on nose and palate because it is "Spiced". Slightly smoky on the finish. Anyway, not boring.

Even for the category of spiced spirit drinks this is terrible. There is literally no taste of any alcohol whatsoever. There are so many better options, the sweet vanilla notes are rather monotone and the 35% do the rest to kill isz
