Blindverkostung: eine angenehme Süße in Form von Honig und Ananas ist in der Nase wahrzunehmen. Unreife Bananen gefolgt von leichtem Klebstoff und einer Kombination aus Medizin und Kräuter, ähnlich den 2000 Long Ponds – aber nicht identisch. Die Nase gefällt mir sehr gut und ich würde sagen, ich weiß jetzt schon, aus welcher Destille dieser Rum ist! Am Gaumen geht der Honig dann komplett auf, zudem kommen noch Holzaromen vom Fass dazu, die ich in dieser Intensität in der Nase noch nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden und dürfte bei ~55% liegen. Am Gaumen geht es genauso weiter, wie in der Nase: der Honig geht über in eine Kombination aus Medizin und Kräutern – was mich nun aber eher an die WIRD 2000 Batch erinnert als an die Long Pond 2000 Batch. Dieser Rum sollte aber definitiv aus St. Lucia sein und aus der Vendom Potstil stammen. Würde ich jetzt nicht schon den TST Vendom 9y im Kopf haben, würd ich sagen, dass der Rum ca. 13-14 Jahre alt sein dürfte. Ein mittellanger Abgang mit den selben Wahrnehmungen des Gaumens runden diesen schönen Rum ab. 90 Punkte

Absolut geiler st Lucia vendome in rein form. Mega schöne Honig und Tropenfrucht Note. Akazienhonig , Weihrauch, kandierter Ingwer und getrocknete Mango Chips und Mirabellenkonfitüre. Quasi der ultimative sipping Vendome pot still st. Lucia! Könnte nur etwas mehr Dampf haben aber ich liebs! Danke Artur!
