Only discreet fruit, but somewhat more heavy sweetness - contrary to expectation in view of the vintage and the relatively short storage hardly ester funk. Interesting to try, but in comparison with today's Jamaica releases for me clearly below average.

13.04.2013 Whiskymessen Meeting up with some friends bringing bottles to sample as well. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Alcoholic, light wood, spice, fruits. Palate Alcoholic, light wood, sweet, fruits, spicy, citrus, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, alcoholic, fruits, sweet, spicy. Extra note. Poor ABV integration, very unbalanced and alcoholic.
