Small HSE tasting: Very successful Agricole but not in the absolute top league. Still definitely something for the Agricole fan. Also a minty note can be discovered which I find very exciting in the dried fruit mix.

Very wood forwards on the nose with some dried fruits. Not much of fresh/vegetal notes in this release with - despite its relatively low ABV - a bit too much alcohol on the nose. I prefer the palate over the nose. Better balanced with fruits, quite some sweetness and wood my biterness, which is better integrated compared to the nose, however.

Nice balanced Agricole. Typical Agricole notes on the nose, then sweet grass, red berries and oak barrel on the palate. Recommendation.

Comparison between the 2016 and 2019: both tasty, but the 2019 has clearly more flavor at the same alcohol level.
