Pretty typical funky Jamaican rum in the nose. Not too heavy. 15 years. 51%. A tad dryish. Very inviting. Taste: very delicious. Intense yet light. Banana. Pineapple. Pleasant sweetness. Funk. Licorice. A bit earthly. Well balanced. Very nice, complex yet easy to drink. Excellent Jamaican. Old Duncan Taylor had some excellent bottles for good pricing.

01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 A very nice and intense rum. Fruity with nice grass and herbal notes. Dry on the palate with a very long and warm finish.

Tasted again and I go down a bit. But really ne good bottling and despite low ABV happens a lot.

Quite okay, but there are much better long ponds than this one. The wood influence is noticeable and slightly over the top, but still just in the green zone. Good in Mai Tai

Schönes LP Profil jedoch zu wenig ausgeprägt aufgrund des tiefen ABV, easy Dailysipper. Alkohol dürfte einbisschen besser eingebunden sein. Bin gespannt wie sich dieser Duncan Taylor im Mai Tai macht.
