If you already love old, wood-shaped agricoles, this 16-year Bielle rewards the attention. The nose runs fruity — candied and tropical fruit, coffee, a tail of oak — with an "alt" old-cask depth that a few tasters place near old Demeraras. The palate is round and unusually soft for an agricole, with a slight cask bitterness and a long fruity finish. Complex without being difficult.

Another nice surprise when tasting this one at a rum event in Copenhagen. The nose is wonderfully fruity with some coffee and a tail of wood. The palate is nice and complex while well balanced between alcohol and fruit and spices. In the back i get some wood and nuttyness. The finish is long and fruity with some vanilla and wood.

Nose full of rubber, but not unpleasant at all. The palate follows the nose with an impressive roundness for an agricultural wine. Very different from other Bielles, better than most in fact. It's good but doesn't give me enough desire to buy the bottle. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it very much for its uniqueness.

Wow, extremely surprising - the nose already gives an extremely exciting, "old" appearing picture that reveals the clearly recognizable but not yet too opulent cask influence, while at the same time revealing dark fruits, spices, bitter chocolate and coffee. On the palate, the bitter note from the aging stands out a bit at first, but the overall profile remains harmonious and really grabs me. Has traits of old Demeraras, but remains independent. Really like it! But

A gem. A complex nose, on candied fruits, citrus, wood and soft spices. A palate with the very particular texture of rums shaped by time. The impression of having a little paste in the mouth, the jammy side of candied fruits. A slightly woody and spicy attack, before giving way to fruits (yellow, white flesh) candied, indulgent with a bit of honey. Very soft and round with a length stretching out long.

Looks like an old Remoneinq or Clement but better. Very easy-drinking... quite full on the palate, almost like it "coats" the whole mouth.
