Note: This rum is at 40% ABV and not the 35% indicated on this app. Barcode EAN remains the same so I assume it’s a general update and that there’s not two versions. Good white rum that reminds me somewhat of the virgin islands rums. This is far rounder and has much more flavor however. The aging comes through nicely and a delicious hint of vanilla is clearly present. Excellent mixer and good to use when you want a white rum that doesn’t completely lack personality.

Pure also a little too much solvent, tastes then at least a little more of the typical Spanish flavors such as coffee vanilla and caramel and some tobacco. In the daiquiri then very pleasing, looks like a daiquiri with white unaged rum, but you taste it immediately the maturation is masked by the filtration. Solid product for daiquiris but also nothing earth-shattering and somehow also somewhat boring...
