Samai White Rum
Anyone wanting an easy, gentle white rum will find a lot to like here. This Cambodian molasses rum leans fruity and soft — banana, citrus, light coconut, a little cherry and vanilla, with a faintly vegetal edge. One taster called it a "sweet nose and taste" but still rated it well. It's briefly barrel-rested and charcoal-filtered, so expect light and direct, not deep.

#4805 09.08.2024 Relaxing with some samples. Nose Fruity, light coconut, banana, cherry, faint marzipan, fruitcake, light vegetal. Palate Oily, warm, balanced, fruity, faint chocolate, citrus, light coconut, faint nutts, cherry, faint vegetal. Finish Medium to long, oily, fruity, citrus, light cherry, warm. The empty glass has nice herbal notes and a light pine like note. Extra note. Very surprising white rum that also did well in a cola.
