WOW Port Mourant 😋 This bottle was a long time ago in my infinity 🔪 list and now I could open one. You can taste the PM profile + great sweet cognac notes (in my opinion from Fins Bois 😉) , honey, vanilla, white chocolat and salty Popcorn. This is a really great rum and the 13y in cognac cask makes the different.

Compared to the MPMM, this one is clearly more "classic" like other continentally aged Port Mourants... Pencil shavings (still the main reason why I don't like many PMs...), herbs, salted dried apricot and lemons, nutmeg, fresh juniper and ginger. Overall, the alcohol is quite dominant and the whole experience is not balanced enough and too bitter. The MPMM performs much better here.
