Un échantillon récupéré au festival du rhum de Lucerne. Une bouche très gourmande, cornet à la vanille, des fruits tropicaux sur-mûrs. L’atelier mécanique est plutôt discret mais participe à la belle complexité d’un nez très homogène. La bouche, au contraire, attaque sur des notes de goudron et de caoutchouc et les fruits n’arrivent qu’ensuite, puis les arômes pâtissiers. La finale est longue et savoureuse. Un Caroni (peut-être de 1997) tout en équilibre avec une belle complexité mais qui reste toujours homogène. Une très belle surprise.

#5471 12.07.2025 Late tasting with a set of friends and I'm always happy when we meet up. Nose Medium intense, wood, light roasted, light rubber, faint tar, light berries, light mint. Palate Warm, wood, light roasted, light rubber, light tar, light mint, light cherry, faint orange, light caramel. Finish Long, wood, light dried fruit, light rubber, light tar, light orange, light berries. Empty glass Light rubber and tar, cherry, light mint, light burns.

Comme tous les produits au-delà de 50%, attention au nez... Ça toaste les poils... Laisser aérer 1 ou 2 minutes votre verre... Votre nez vous sera reconnaissant 😉. Qu'elle complexité au nez... Cuir, boisé, grillé et tout en rondeur... Qu'elle promesse pour la bouche... En bouche, on retrouve les marqueurs du Carroni : Goudron, caoutchouc, épicé, boisé, une complexité folle, mais moins prononcés que les produits Vellier. Une fin moyenne longue fruits tropicaux avec son fumé légendaire... N'hésitez pas passer un moment sur votre verre après dégustation un florilège d'arômes vous attendent... Bref UN Carroni.
