One member called this a "toller Einsteiger" into the Jamaican world, and that fits: pineapple and yellow tropical fruit lead, ester is there but stays gentle, and there's a soft woody edge underneath. A few tasters wanted a touch more punch at 42%, and one found it heavy without much complexity. Easy sipping, and several also mix it happily.

Whisky'n'More Hattingen March 2026. And next up, a Jamaican Plantation. Esters are noticeable but not too strong, otherwise mainly tropical fruits, pineapple is clearly recognizable here. Good sipper.

Solid Jamaican. Beautiful tropical fruits with a gentle wood influence. Gentle esters without being overpowering. The price-performance ratio is great. Could have had a bit more alcohol. Definitely worth trying.

On the palate, a fairly powerful and intense rum, not very subtle nor very well balanced. Heavy rum, with a glimpse of Jamaican typicity without a lot of complexity. Medium length on the palate that doesn't leave a big impression on me.
