Discovered this rum at the airport and, since I didn't have it yet, simply ordered it. I had imagined it to be worse. In addition to a slight fruity note, it is predominantly alcoholic. A hint of nail polish can be detected. Not a masterpiece.

The nose is very medicinal with robots tea and alcohol, not very inviting. The taste is light and mostly of alcohol. This is like the vodka of rum. I can’t say this is good, it is nothing more than a cheap cocktail rum.

On The Rocks: On the nose a strong apple and spice with mild alcohol. Taste is shallow with an apple and spice with a very mild oak and burn. Finish is short starting sweet and going a little bitter. I would not go out of my way to drink this unmixed. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose mild apple and sweet fruit. Taste reveals a mild sweet apple taste. Finish is short with the sweetness fading to slightly bitter. Not really much better mixed but is drinkable.

Rough, hot, and harsh. There’s the slightest bit of sweetness in the middle but it starts out harsh and ends hot. Decent enough to be a mixer with something strong like coke or sour, definitely not a good sipper

Not really developed taste. For a rum is makes me think of burning water. Some light tropical flavors, but seems like to much was stripped during distilling. More profile than their silver, but it's a mixing rum not sipping rum.

Just wanted to give this a try. Expected it to be pretty bad but actually is not bad. Aroma is very pleasant, flavors of apple, apricot maybe guava with caramel and spice. Not a great sipper but not as bad as I expected.

During COVID-19, our world had a shortage of isopropyl alcohol. I heard that certain distillers were providing alcohol to hand sanitizer manufacturers in lieu of this. After tasting this rum, i can only assume this is was also on my hands at some point. Homeless people would hesitate.

Classic hangover generator. Made for cheap Cuba libres, the world over. Light Golden pour. Not a lot of endearing characteristics. Might ruin a good can of coke actually. Nail polish and bark. But unfortunately I'll likely have it again.
