A PM that fell short of my expectations right from the start. But I have to admit that I suddenly like it much better now than I did at the beginning. I was extremely disappointed during my first tastings and I couldn't really understand the good reviews from my friends. Now it's a bit different.... It's still not a sample PM for me, especially on the nose, because it's simply too flat, simple and doesn't give as much as other PMs. But it is quite pleasant, with nice woody notes, caramel, leather, tobacco, spices and a perceptible but not disturbing herbal note. However, the rum really comes into its own in the mouth. The first thing you notice is a really exceptionally concentrated sweetness, the 65% is really powerful and very well integrated. There is hardly any bitterness, which makes it simply really drinkable and delicious. But even in the mouth it is not the most complex or profound in terms of aromas. Other PMs are simply better at this and more typical of PM. The herbal note is noticeable again in the finish. Again, I'm not the biggest fan of this, but it's still only slightly distracting as it's not too overpowering Very successful overall, but still not a frontrunner

Incredibly good! A PM essence! Some plum on the nose, a concentration of spices and Maggi. Extraordinary complexity on the palate!
