Alkoholische Schärf sehr ungewöhnlich und unangenehm bei nur 43%. Der Rum macht einen sehr unnatürlichen und künstlichen Eindruck. Auch die Süsse fühlt sich eigenartig an. Typisches unausgewogenes Massenprodukt wohl eher zum mixen gedacht als für den puren Genuss.

An exciting rum that shows some solvent and glue on the nose. Mostly fruit and sweetness on the palate. Certainly not the most multifaceted rum. The finish is short and painless. Not unpleasant and quite drinkable. Okay for the price. Nothing more, nothing less.

Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: ** Taste: *** Overall: ** ”43% Costa Rica.” Quite stingy on the nose with varnish on top of the dried fruits I can sense underneath. The taste is the total opposite; very sweet with candied notes. Milk chocolate, vanilla and some faint orange peel notes in the aftertaste. Nice sipper.

Absolutely nondescript on the nose. Therefore, the whole pleasant (although somewhat artificial) taste of almond and marzipan is all the more surprising. You drink it very nicely on the side.

On the nose a lot of glue, which fades slightly and is not so reflected in the taste. Taste is caramel and round. Sweet but not too sweet.
