Rum Nation Worthy Park Small Batch Rare Rums 2006
Banana up front, then cocoa, dark chocolate and a dry, almost pastry-like sweetness — a classic Worthy Park profile at 58%. A few members flag a metallic note and alcohol that isn't quite tucked in, so it drinks a touch drier and more astringent than the fruitier Worthy Park bottlings. Complex without being demanding, and most tasters happily finish the glass.

Dry, banana-and-cocoa Worthy Park at cask strength Most rate it a good, typical Worthy Park with nice fruit and a long finish; the recurring gripe is a slightly rough alcohol integration, but nobody calls it a dealbreaker.

Review by Rodolphe
The alcohol is very well integrated. Complex but not overly so, each aroma finds its place. A real pleasure. The fruitiness complements a strong pastry side. I really like this rum, typical of the best from worthy park.
Review by Mirko Frosini 🇮🇪
Good rum, but compared to Velier's habitation it is a bit subpar! Quite long finish. However tasted very gladly! Recommended! Alcohol could have been integrated better, but still nothing bothersome.
Review by crazyforgoodbooze
No idea what went wrong here but this metallic note and the rather semi well integrated alcohol is very disturbing. Pungent on the nose, bitter and spicy, fruity and slightly burnt on the palate. Very dry and woody. Aromatically exciting overall, but you first have to drink past the metallic note to discover the rest...
Review by Johannes
Very good, typical Worthy Park, which is not quite as fruity, somewhat more astringent and drier.
Review by Kasper
I consider it worthy
Review by Jakob
Quite straightforward Worthy Park with banana, pepper, caramel, dark chocolate and a metallic note that possibly indicates not quite perfectly integrated alcohol. Overall, the balance is not perfect, but remains within acceptable limits. Still, for the classic Worthy Park profile, I see other bottlings further ahead.
