Gentle caramel aroma with dried fruit, vanilla, and a bit of nuts. You can also notice wine. On the palate, a big but well-balanced portion of caramel. A hint of coffee and burnt wood. In the finish, caramel, dried dates, and coffee. Nice piece.

Number 11 from the Tastillery Advent calendar. Nose full of spicy notes, a bit leathery and the smell of typical Guyana Demerara rum. In the mouth a wealth of dark aromas. A spiciness, a slight peppery sting, some leather and lots of molasses. Subtly sweet.

Very nice guyana, typical Demerara rum which is a little bit on a sweet side but in a very good way as you get the milk chocolate, fudge, caramel, coffee and roasted almonds all in one sample. Nose is typical demerara with heavy tones of coffee, cocoa and leather. I like this one a lot despite it is only 40% abv. Foolproof rum.

Read full review →When I tasted this rum again after a long time, it really hit the right note for me. I said to myself, I definitely have to buy this home, even if it costs over 2000 CZK. I look at the webshop and see a nice 1200 CZK.
