Several tasters find it just too sweet to sip seriously, though one noticed it isn't quite as sugary as other Oliver bottles, with cinnamon, quince and a whiff of whisky in there. Nice, clear colour, sweet scent with cinnamon and whisky. Its taste is not as sweet as other Oliver rums. Allspice, quince and molasses and whiskey is noticeable. Its aftertaste is strong. Pretty good rum for the price.

Well, not the best rum, but okay. I find it a bit too sweet. You get vanilla, chocolate and caramel on nose and palate. Still, you feel the alcohol a bit too much. So-so.

Yesterday again a very average rum. Smells very sweet right away and tastes like that too. You can recognize notes of vanilla, sugar, caramel, and syrup. This rum is simply too sweet for me. Therefore, not really my thing.
