06.04.2019 Nice relaxing day at home with nice samples. Notes Light in colour. Nose: fresh, ester, light wood, pineapple, varnish, fruity. Palate: medium dry, light wood, banana, dried fruit, warm, ester, light salt. Finish: long and warm, fruity, light wood, ester, salt.

Once again more oily than the sister bottling at 62%. Elegant, syrupy heaviness in the profile, which get a great counterpart by the fruit notes. The complexity is also right - the mentioned tropical fruits meet wood, spices, heavy sweetness and even discreet fresh tea and grass notes. Overall, high school that Wild Parrot has offered here.

flavor is a bit simply and closed. disappointed. good hampden but it's too homogeneous, and it's very similar to other HDs generally. too few elements to avoid being dull. from nosing, taste, finish to more aspects: fruit, spices, woody, herbs… based on all dimensions, I would choice '92 HD and even some HD in the 21st century.
