Wooden-still Demerara character: chocolate, heavy oak and a mineral-ash edge, with vanilla and butterscotch softening the middle. Very well integrated ABV and I only added a drop of water in order to get all the flavours set free. Water is not needed though because it's very well balanced.

Surprisingly sweet and slightly fruity enmore, but the alcohol could be much better integrated. I had to sneeze 3 times when nosing 😂 Solid taste but not a revelation either and not a particularly good representative of Enmore rums for me.

On the nose I discover a very extensive mix of mainly sweet notes. You definitely want to let it breathe in the glass. On the palate there are chocolate but also subtle fruity notes, Despite the higher ABV, the alcohol is very well integrated. A great piece.

... Enmore - drive distillery, now just a functional distillation device. Probably the only wooden distillation device in the world that enjoys great popularity. Enmore rums have flavors of ash, leather, heavy wood, which especially excite lovers of smoky whiskies. And if the producer adds a bit of molasses to the rum in the traditional Guyanese way, you have a unique, very strong and heavy rum in the bottle. One of my favorites.
