Westerhall Estate RA Grenada Rum GMWE 1993
One taster guessed something chocolatey from Panama in a blind pour, and that captures this 25-year Grenada column-still well: orange peel, salted caramel, dark chocolate and walnut, with fruit hovering in the background and light oak. The recurring gripe across reviews is the alcohol — even for fans, the 61% never quite settles in.

Aged spanish-style Grenada, hot on the alcohol Members call it a well-aged, spanish-style Grenada single cask with power, but nearly everyone docks it for alcohol that isn't fully integrated. Good value, not thrilling.

Review by DomM
Not a bad column still expression. However, it’s just not really exciting to me personally while the alcohol is a little to pronounced.
Review by MarcT
I am not a fan of Spanish style, but I notice that Westerhall knows how to age rum. It's not very complex, but does it's part well. The rum really profits from its higher proof.
Review by Oliver
Nice Spanish style rum with power. A little too round for me.
Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
I haven't tasted that many rums from Grenada, but this one is OK and the price to quality is very good. The nose is very fruity with wood and toffee trailed by vanilla and nuts. The palate is equally fruity with wood and vanilla trailed by toffee and nuts The finish is long and fruity with spices, nuts and wood.
Review by Christoph
Had I tasted it blind, I would have guessed something slightly chocolaty from Panama. The fruits are in the background. The rum is slightly woody. Unfortunately, the alcoholic aftertaste and in the nose is then too intense.
