Tasted this Barbadian staple rum together with some other staple rums during my recent visit in Barbados before we started our distillery visits. The nose is fruity, sweet and woody with scents of apricot, marmalade, toffee and oak. At the palate it’s sweet, fruity, woody, dry and a little bitter with flavors of marmalade, orange and oak. The finish is medium long with the flavors consistent.
