I was charmed neither by the quite alcoholic nose nor by the rather stiff attack on the palate, but it gets better after that. I'm a fan of their white at 63 degrees but here I'm not convinced. Tasted neat, I should try it in a ti punch... I revise my judgment, much more pleasant after 30 minutes of rest in the glass. Sorry for the too hasty tasting!

La Route des Rhums Advent Calendar 2023 No 19. Again a white Agricole, this time from Longueteau. Hardly any difference from Maison La Mauny. The nose is fresh, fruity and floral. On the palate as well, a typical Agricole indeed.

#4200 Another cheap and very good rum both for sipping and mixing. Very fresh profile with nice lemon/citrus notes. The floral notes are really nice and the finish is long and warm.
