28.03.2022 Sampling a bit at home. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Light wood, herbs, banana, overripe, faint smoke, varnish, cherry, faint smoke. Palate Oily, light wood, cherry, light herbs, workshop, cinnamon, light orange, light licorice. Finish Medium long, light wood, cinnamon, light liquorice, faint chocolate, very faint tar.

Un rhum pris dans un restaurant, la bouteille est à peine entamée. Le nez est très marqué par l’atelier mécanique mais les fruits tropicaux ne sont pas très loin. La bouche est équilibrée, bien meilleures que le Caroni Whisky Agency 16yo. La finale est longue. Un beau représentant du millésime 1997.
