My third Clement Rare Cask for tonight and in my opinion the best. An absolute madness! Dirt, fruit, leather, dried fruits, chocolate... on the palate first flattering and increasingly drier and more astringent. Probably the fruitiest rare cask I've had. Many thanks @Thunderbird.

A direct sibling comparison of the two Robert Peronets. The 2002 is a bit stronger. That starts with the nose and continues to the finish. It leans more clearly on the fruity and spicy side. I perceive much more grape and allspice. The 2000 is more complex and elegant. The 2002 is a bit wilder in moderation, but only subtly. Both are first-class Agricoles.

8,6:On the nose,the first impression we get are woody and fruity notes with dried fruits like raisins, apricots, dates and nice berries, as the wood is charred, spicy with nuts, caramel, chocolate. The sugarcane is flowery. On aeration, we notice smoky touch, some tobacco, the cane with honey and pastry, tea, pear, perhaps it is candied. Later coffee leaves it traces. 8,7:On the palate, the attack is tasty with spicy and charred wood notes like pepper, nuts and chocolate, the fruits are dried with raisins and apricots, as the sugarcane is flowery, grassy and with some tobacco. Resting brings out smoky touch, mineral, minty and herbal cane with tea and delicious caramel, nougat and pastry. The wood becomes a bit resinous, stays buttery with new notes like dried figs and espresso.Nicely balanced... 8,5:The finish is long with woody notes like nuts, chocolate, vanilla, allspice, espresso, dry, the cane is mineral, a bit waxy, floral, minty, with tea, tobacco.The fruits are more cognac like with dried fruits like raisins, apricots, some pear.Some resin stays...

Day trip Baltrum September 2024 A Clement Rare Cask Collection (2002)(Sample from Saibot Ztar). The nose is very smoky for me, also chocolate, nuts and cask can be recognized. On the palate also very woody and some chocolate. You can definitely taste the 15 years.

Had a nice Clement tasting on Friday and I have to admit that I accidentally ordered 7 different bottles. This particular one is pretty OK considering the price I'd have to pay. Slightly dry in the finish and definitely an Agricole.

Reserved nose for 56%, but round and harmonious with caramel, fruits, spices, and chocolate. Clearly recognizable as an Agricole, especially on the palate and finish. Very vegetal, earthy, and woody. Unfortunately, the caramel influence is missing, which makes the rum seem somewhat unbalanced. However, I find the roasted and subtly fruity parts delicious.

Powerful, warm nose. Nicely balanced and melted. Chocolate, wood, grass, pastries, dried fruits, and slightly sour notes. Woody, spicy, strong on the palate. Great, warming finish. Top craft-made Agricole. Demanding and drinkable. The Non plus Ultra tasted in parallel is fruitier and more complex on the nose but can't match the phenomenal finish of the 2002 Peronets.

The first Clement for today. On the nose, very dominant plums which also dominate the taste. Generally, dried fruits can be tasted and also a hint of raisins. Delicious

Nice Agricole, initially dominated by apple notes, vanilla and wood. At the back come yellow fruits, the alcohol is well integrated. In direct comparison with the 2000 I miss the somewhat dirty notes that highlight it again in terms of complexity.
