Nice sweet smell, caramel and honey, a bit of fruits (citrus). Taste is very similar to the smell, but the real taste starts after the swallow. The finish is very smooth and not strong at all. Overall very nice rum!

Angenehmer Süßrum mit Karamell und Honig. In der Nase etwas Zimt, Vanille und Gewürze. Am Gaumen ist er weniger süß als erwartet und erinnert mit seinen Zimtnoten an Weihnachtsgebäck. Für diese Preisklasse ein sehr ordentlicher Rum.

Retasting and I still agree with what I said last time. One of the least sweet rums from A.H Riise. Considerably less sweeter than its more expensive siblings. Since the sweetness is supressed a bit it, is a very nice rum in its price class. Very nice day-to-day sippable rum although the finish is extremely short.

In my opinion this should likely not be drank neat, as it has more of a cocktail-wise characteristic. It is spicy in the nose, and in the notes I found vanilla, cinnamon and caramel. It works rather well in cocktails with ice
