If you want something that barely tastes like rum, this is the oddity — a Mauritius column-still spirit that lands somewhere near cherry fruit brandy. Marzipan, sour cherry and almond lead, with a little nutmeg and ginger behind. One member nailed it: liquid Mon Cheri with white chocolate. #7243 29.08.2026 Tasted at the German Rum Festival 2026. When looking at the price tag this is actually a very good rum. Amazing that they were able to filtrate out the colour of a 6 year old casked rum. My quick notes while tasting. Sweet, round, fruits, spice, ginger, chocolate, herbs, marzipan.
