30.08.2019 A nice evening with good friends and a few rums. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Wood, fruity, plum, light nutts, faint leather, spice. Palate Oily, balanced, complex, warm, wood, roasted, faint smoke, light leather, faint chocolate, plum, orange. Finish Very long and warm, balanced, complex, dried fruit, faint chocolate, spice, faint smoke.

Slightly more straightforward than the second R.A.S.C. release. Here too, molasses, dried plum and dried fruit, barrel notes, tobacco and subtle fruit on the nose. The palate is then somewhat drier, spicier, more woody - an excellent rum, my preference goes slightly to the second release, because it has a little more depth thanks to the leathery tonality.
