This is a rum where I should have bought a few extra bottles, because it's a great rum and now the price has gone through the roof. The nose is sweet well balanced between wood, fruit and spices. A true masterpiece in my mind. The palate is complex and well balanced with wood, fruit and spices and a tad of chocolate. The finish is long and complex as well as well balanced between wood, fruit and spices. Try to nose the empty glass after a few hours, it'll blow you away and especially the chocolate shines through.

Extremely tasty Bellevue 98 - balanced, complex and delicious. Fully ripe papaya, dried apricots, milk chocolate, green pepper, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla. Alcohol strength perfectly chosen. Definitely a somewhat different Bellevue 98. Thanks to Pavol for the sample!
