Corman Collins Trois Rivières Cuvée Bèlè 2005

8.6/10
Rated by Joachim Guger, Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰 & 35 more

Woody and spice-forward, with candied tropical fruit (mango, lychee), sugarcane and a Cognac-cask sweetness underneath. The nose pulls people in with jammy fruit; the palate turns peppery and a bit drying. A few tasters get coffee, cocoa and tobacco on the finish. Most agree it's an unusual Trois Rivières — one that finally won over even the skeptics of the distillery.

  • Candied fruit nose
  • Cognac cask depth
  • Well-balanced

Woody, peppery agricole with candied fruit A well-balanced, atypical agricole most members rate highly. Lovely candied-fruit nose and Cognac influence; the catch is a drying, peppery finish and modest complexity.

I'd say the price tag is pretty OK on this release. A fruity and intense rum with nice mix of spices. I like the there is a difference between the nose and palate, not a lot but enough to surprise you. The empty glass is really nice and I get light coffee and chocolate notes.

Incredibly delicious and unusual trois Rivieres. Tropical fruit, dark chocolate, cognac influence and some mint, as well as vanilla and some ginger jelly. Really nice part! The first trois Rivieres I think the me fully convinced.
