Appleton Reserve Blend
Ripe tropical fruit up front — mango and banana — with a light caramel sweetness and a bit of spice, then a mild, soft finish that turns nutty and occasionally sharp. Members find it fruity and easy but young; several say it's better in drinks than sipped neat. One taster liked the drier, oakier lean over the older V/X, just not by much.

Weg vom Agricole, aber wir bleiben in der Karibik ;) Ist überwiegend fruchtig in der Nase, vor allem tropische Früchte und überreif. Am Gaumen auch tropische Früchte, Mango und Banane sind erkennbar, außerdem eine leichte Süße (Karamell). Nix besonderes.

21.12.2025 Having a friend over who is not up to the heavier stuff, so we run through a few lighter rums. ---------- This rum is made for drinks and rumpunch, it's way too young and unbalanced to drink pure.
