#7343 22.09.2026 Got a big box of blanc/unaged samples today and I'm just guessing most are goin to be taste and spit rums. Watching Myth Busters at the same time. Price tag is a bit off but still a decent rum. Medium intense profile with sugarcane, fruits, spice, floral, tea, minerals, licorice, grass and a peppery dry palate.

A very good memory from the 2000s, I definitely preferred it to the blue cane of the time. But I only drank whites in tipunch, I think this was my very first "premium" white, my first crush. So I've been frustrated since it disappeared and the blue cane continued on the path we know. No more details in my memory.... I found it again, this magnificent bottle, despite the price I couldn't resist the curiosity to evaluate it now that I only drink whites neat. Quite disappointed with the neat quality, but happy to confront my memories, so I'll taste it again in tipunch to see if the memories come back more. Nose: quite closed, a bit earthy. After a good 15 minutes it opens a bit on citrus, lemon, which makes it a bit fresher. Palate: a bit earthy, then the alcohol. Short length, on the old cane. Not crazy but pleasant when you're nostalgic, waiting for the tipunch tasting. Edit, tasted again blind at home and I raise the score from 6.8 to 7.8, probably without the disappointment of the memory! Nose: interesting, good, citrus like lemon. Palate: oily! Almost licorice rather than earth. Still short length.
