Fassbind AG Clarendon Secret Treasures Old Jamaica Rum 1991
"Very drinkable Monymusk," as one member puts it — and that's the whole story here. Pineapple and mango lead, with a little glue and light ester hiding underneath, but the 42% leaves everything thin and dry on the palate. Several tasters like it on a sunny day and would restock it, while others just call it watery. A gentle, easygoing Jamaican rather than a loud one.

Nice Monymusk expression. High quality. Tasty despite the reduction. Obviously overall intensity is muted compared to cask strength bottlings.

In der Nase leicht fruchtig, leichte Esternoten erkennbar. a Am Gaumen eher trocken.

Very drinkable Monymusk. All the typical flavours are there but the 42% makes it just a bit too thin. Although this is great on a sunny day. If you're lucky enough you'll find these for around 50eu which is well worth it.

Keine gute Kombination.
