Po prvom otvorení voňal takmer ako Hampden. Niekoľko mesiacov od otvorenia sa dajú vo vôni ľahko odlíšiť rastlinné zložky Sajous a jamajský vplyv suda Hampden. V chuti je jasne rozpoznateľný Sajous, ale bez ostrých hrán a divokosti. Chuť olív sa vytratila, ostala rastlinná chuť a zvýšila sa sladkosť. Za mňa dobrá fľaša. When was first opened it smelled almost like a Hampden. A few months later the herbal notes of Sajous and the Jamaican influence of the cask are easily discernible in the nose. The taste is clearly clairin, but without the sharp edges an wildness. The olive flavor has disappeared, the herbal flavor remains and the sweetness has increased. I would say a good bottle.

Sugar cane juice meets funky ester finish. A very successful experiment, the trademarks of Sajous and Hampden both come through and complement each other to create a delicious symbiosis of both countries. The grassiness of the Sajous has been toned down and is probably a little rounder than other Ansyen bottlings thanks to the Jamaica cask. The alcohol is a little sharp at first, but by no means fizzy. A very nice experiment, which for me should average well over 80 points in the ratings. Edit: after a few months of opening, I'm increasing my rating by 2 points. The oxidation has done the rum an incredible amount of good, the typical Clairin notes seem to have become even more interwoven with the original Hampden cask ageing. Everything is wonderfully beautiful, round, intense and well-balanced, the grassiness and earthiness of the Clairin is increasingly merging with the ester notes. Great!
