Long Pond & Clarendon Plantation Jamaica "Addict" VRW 2009
One taster called this a "delicious Long Pond," and that fits: this is the rounder, easier side of Jamaica rather than the glue-and-solvent extreme. Expect ripe banana, guava, papaya and almond cream up front, with a peppery, oaky, slightly bitter finish. At 61.4% the heat is real but mostly well-knit. A couple of people found it a touch acidic and short on depth.
- Ripe tropical fruit
- Long warm finish
- Easier Long Pond

How does Long Pond & Clarendon Plantation Jamaica "Addict" VRW 2009 taste?
Aggregated from 15 community reviews.
Round, fruity Jamaican with a hot finish Most find it a rounder, fruit-forward Long Pond that sips well despite the strength. The catch a few note: a hot, bitter, drying finish and slightly less depth than the nose promises.

Because 8.7 🤷♂️😃

A magnificent rum, very fine with a nice alcoholic integration.we are very far from the Jamaican ones which are carried on the glue, the solvents and the too ripe fruits... The aromatic is not so complex but very pleasant, very "cognac". This rum requires a good aeration and especially to come back regularly throughout the evening because its profile is refined with time. The final is very long, which multiplies tenfold the pleasure of the tasting!
