Nose Pwaaaa that smells really good! Mango, passion fruit, lychee and some woody notes with dried fruit and blond tobacco. This nose is hyper-perfumed, in jamaique/cognac fruity mode. I really like it, it's superb. Mouth Just as good, a real concentrate of fruit with pineapple, banana and mango, all in explosive mode. The oak is present but delicate, with dried fruit again, chocolate and a few spices. There's plenty of pep, greed, fruit, a light woodiness and incredible balance...

Well, I think it's pretty good. The bitterness described by some doesn't bother me at all, and the cognac/tobacco notes please me rather well. I really think this little jam is top-notch 🤩

The MBK mark, between 60 and 90 gr / hl AA of esters, corresponds to the time of distillation. When bottled, it reaches 256, which classifies it as EMB or MMW, depending on the docs... I still like the nose as much as when I tasted it about a year ago, it's super fruity. It's the same on the palate, with a lovely basket of fruit, pineapple, banana and almonds. There's just the right amount of intensity, but the alcohol is well integrated, leaving a long finish, full of sweetness and gourmandise. One of my favorite light Jamaicans.

Very nice, with a long, evolving finish. Very fruity, with lytchee at the head, vanilla, almond paste and a finish that gives a little tannic bitterness that's much appreciated. The whole is very well balanced.

Unlike the pre-sample tasted this summer, which won me over with its devastating fruitiness, this one needs a good 30 minutes of aeration, as it's clearly more woody and less markedly fruity (mango-passion-fruit). But once this woodiness has been tamed, we're treated to the usual Jamaican banana, and here blood orange. On the palate, it's lively, very intense, spicy-peppery but well-balanced. This is an elegant rum, with a long finish and hints of coconut and floral notes.

For relatively little money, a Jamaican that's a lot of fun. Barrel and wood aromas, tobacco and a certain bitterness, which I don't find unpleasant, are in the foreground on the palate, followed by a floral sweetness (violets?) of the cognac finish and light fruit and ester notes. Pleasant length and more wood and tobacco on the finish. For me, the positive blueprint of a Plantation-style Jamaican without sweetening. If anything, it should have a little more alcohol for more intensity/length and a little less barrel/bitterness.

Solid rum, nose and palate with nice fruity notes, finish is rather dry, barrel-heavy and slightly bitter. This is the second or third step on the 10 steps of Jamaica Funk ;-)Price / performance excellent!

Nothing groundbreaking, but OK. Some esters, wood, tobacco and some tropical fruit.

For a clarendon from the fruitier side. I like it well!
Review by Barnagricole
Nose super fruity, it gives desire to enter in. The mouth is too powerful, I find the alcohol not integrated enough with an unpleasant woody bitterness, we find the fruits of the nose but in the background. Too bad the nose was selling a dream
